Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Business Development Manager – Fire Suppression (ANZ) based in Australia or New Zealand to drive growth across the ANZ fire protection portfolio. You will build consultative relationships with consultants, end-users, OEMs, insurers, and other specifiers to ensure product specification.

Leverage your technical expertise, collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product teams, and deliver technical training and seminars to key accounts while aligning with regional leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years’ experience in sales or business development within fire protection systems.
• Proven ability to secure product specifications with consultants and installers.
• Strong experience in strategic planning, market development and market research.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence key decision-makers.
• Results-driven, self-motivated and proactive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the ANZ region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities to drive revenue and profitability across ANZ.
• Build consultative relationships with consultants, end-users, OEMs and insurers to secure product specification.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify total solution opportunities and support new product introductions.
• Deliver high-quality technical presentations and live product demonstrations with tailored customer solutions.
