Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Account Manager to grow a portfolio of existing customers and identify new business opportunities across our service offerings in Sydney and NSW. You will build trusted relationships, understand customer operations, and deliver tailored BMS, HVAC, Fire and Security solutions.

You'll drive recurring service revenue, pursue project opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, or Customer Relationship Management.
• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, Fire, Security, Building Services, or related technical industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic relationships across an assigned customer portfolio.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service, engagement, and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for improvement, renewal, and growth.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer operations, objectives, and future requirements.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
• Drive growth in recurring service agreements and project-based opportunities.
• Develop and implement account plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs.
• Engage customers through a consultative sales approach to identify challenges and recommend value-driven solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned to customer requirements.
• Support contract negotiations and successful commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with service technicians, operations teams, project managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of customer commitments.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service performance, project updates, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain a strong industry network across facilities management, property, healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial sectors.
