Job summary

Adept Fire Protection Services Pty Ltd in New South Wales is hiring a Fire Alarm Technician/Dry Fire Installer on a full-time basis. You will install, test and service fire detection equipment, acting as the main onsite contact for ongoing projects and coordinating with the project manager.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace and repair fire alarm systems and detection equipment.
• Be the main onsite contact for fire detection projects reporting to the project manager.
• Test dry-fire equipment and ensure proper operation of systems.
• Lead client meetings and toolbox talks to advise users on fire alarm systems.
• Fault find on fire detection systems.
• Assist with quoting, ordering and organisation of dry fire equipment and systems.
• Assist with scheduling of crews/electricians to complete works.

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Technician/Dry Fire Installer to join our team at Adept Fire Protection Services Pty Ltd in New South Wales on a full-time basis.

Duties

• Installation, replacement and repairs of items including automatic fire detection equipment and fire alarm systems
• Main point of contact onsite for fire detection and alarm system projects reporting to the project manager
• Engage in testing dry-fire equipment (fire detectors / smoke alarms) and systems, and ensuring they operate adequately
• Participate/conduct client meeting/interview, site meetings & toolbox talks to advise clients and users alike on how to use fire alarm systems
• Fault finding of fire detection and alarm systems
• Assist with quoting, ordering and organisation of dry fire equipment and systems
• Assist with scheduling of crews/electricians to complete works
