Job summary

Core Talent Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Electrical Project Manager to oversee minor to medium-sized fire system installation, upgrade and fit-out projects across commercial properties in the Sydney metropolitan area. The role is hands-on, requiring a strong technical understanding of fire detection, alarm and EWIS systems, with end-to-end delivery from start to finish.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Fire Electrical Project Manager to join our client’s team, managing minor to medium-sized fire system installation, upgrade and fit out projects across commercial properties throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. They are an established Fire Services Contractor that covers both installation and maintenance.

This is a hands‑on project management role suited to someone with a strong technical understanding of fire detection, alarm and EWIS systems, combined with practical experience delivering projects from commencement through to completion.

As a Dry Fire Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing fire system installation, upgrade and fitout projects from commencement through to completion
• Programming and scheduling works, technicians and subcontractors
• Coordinating technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and other contractors
• Liaising directly with clients, builders, consultants and stakeholders
• Procuring materials, equipment and services
• Monitoring project costs, labour and overall project performance
• Identifying and managing variations and additional works
• Reviewing project progress and resolving issues as they arise
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with relevant standards, specifications and compliance requirements
• Maintaining project documentation, reporting and records
• Working closely with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered successfully
