Stake Australia seeks a UX/UI Designer / Product Designer in Sydney, blending UX and product design in a hybrid, permanent role. You’ll lead from discovery through delivery, applying user research, prototyping and analytics to drive conversion-focused experiences.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in digital design, strong Figma skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to accessible, scalable design systems.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years in digital UX-focused design.
• Experience in user research and usability testing.
• Strong Figma knowledge, prototyping and design systems.
• Ability to present and justify design decisions to clients and internal teams.
• Attention to detail in layout and typography.
• Comfort with analytics such as GA4/Hotjar.
• Experience writing design documentation and system guidelines.
• Proactive with initiative and time management, able to run multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Frame problems using research, data, analytics and stakeholder input.
• Own projects from brief to delivery: discovery, user flows, site maps, sketches, wireframes, prototypes and interface design.
• Plan and run usability testing and translate findings into defensible design decisions.
• Map user journeys and information architecture for complex sites and products.
• Design with accessibility in mind and build to WCAG standards.
• Collaborate with PPC, CRO and SEO teams to build conversion-focused landing pages and websites.
• Work closely with internal development team and understand technical realities.
• Further develop design knowledge, experiment with new tools, ideas and processes.
