Job summary

Transport For NSW is seeking a seasoned Finishing Grader Operator to join the Western Riverina team in Hay. You will finish road pavements to tight tolerances, lead assisting crew members, and contribute to safe, high-quality outputs across regional NSW projects.

Ideal candidates have extensive road construction experience, strong trimming skills, and familiarity with GPS-guided grading. On-site, permanent full-time work with LAFHA, travel allowances, and a 9-day fortnight is offered.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in road construction and maintenance, particularly levelling and trimming.
• Experience operating grading plant safely to tight tolerances and performing quality checks.
• Proficient with Topcon GPS to maximise efficiency.
• Pride in workmanship and problem solving on site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality road pavement finishing across NSW regional networks.
• Trim and finish to tight tolerances while guiding team to build capability.
• Work with limited supervision in a dynamic construction environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
