Job summary

Lake St Clair Lodge in Tasmania seeks an experienced Restaurant Supervisor (Fine Dining) to oversee guest service across restaurant, cafe and bar, ensuring high standards and smooth service. The role includes managing staff, menu coordination, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead a small team, coordinate menus and reservations, oversee stock and health and safety, and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a wilderness setting.

Qualifications

• Barista, RSA, Sommelier and Safe Food Handling Supervisor certificates required.
• Experience in a fine dining environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus and assist in pricing and menu development for the restaurant.
• Organise special and group functions for guests.
• Oversee stock control for cafe, bar and restaurant.
• Organise purchasing and inventory management.
• Price items for sale across food and beverage offerings.
• Control menu pricing and financials at the point of sale.
• Ensure facilities comply with health and safety regulations and stay clean.
• Serve customers and handle issues or complaints.
• Train and supervise guest service attendants across F&B.
• Take reservations and ensure smooth operation during service.
