Job summary

Lake St Clair Lodge in Tasmania is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor/Team Leader to oversee daily housekeeping activities and elevate the guest experience at our 42-cabin resort. You will lead the housekeeping team during peak season, supervise room service and maintenance tasks, ensure OH&S standards, and provide regular reports to the Duty Manager.

This full-time, remote-living role includes subsidised accommodation and meals, weekend work, and flexibility to assist in other roles as required.

Qualifications

• Proven housekeeping experience in hospitality.
• Experience leading a small team during peak season.
• Strong OH&S knowledge and safety compliance.
• Fluent in English; excellent communication.
• Familiarity with HAZOP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directing and overseeing room service and housekeeping activities.
• Supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance.
• Assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction.
• Overseeing purchasing activities.
• Providing regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to the Duty Manager.
• Leading the housekeeping team during the season and guiding out-of-season maintenance tasks.
• Enhancing guest experience through housekeeping services.
• Ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations and grooming standards.
