Job summary

HLB Mann Judd Sydney is seeking a Financial Reporting & Advisory Manager to join our Corporate Financial Reporting & Advisory practice at Barangaroo. Bring 6+ years in accounting advisory, IFRS/AASB expertise, and experience leading complex client engagements in ASX-listed and not-for-profit sectors.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in accounting advisory, complex audit or related professional services
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, AASB and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with complex group structures, consolidations and treasury activities
• Demonstrated experience managing complex client engagements
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading teams, coaching staff and managing competing priorities
• Ability to navigate change and contribute to a growing advisory practice
• Experience with Xero preferred, including advising clients on best practice adoption and reporting solutions.

The opportunity

We’re looking for a Financial Reporting & Advisory Manager to join our Corporate Financial Reporting & Advisory practice at our Sydney Barangaroo office. With over250peopleacross our firm, HLB offers genuinecareer progression, exposure to diverse work, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

You’ll work at the centre of some of our client’s most important accounting and reporting challenges. What makes this role unique is the breadth of exposure. You’ll work alongside senior management teams across ASX-listed, private, public sector and not-for-profit organisations, helping them navigate complex accounting, reporting and finance challenges. This position is being offered as a 12-month parental leave contract, with the potential to become a permanent role subject to business needs and performance.

As a Financial Reporting & Advisory Manager, you will:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, AASB and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with complex group structures, consolidations and treasury activities
• Demonstrated experience managing complex client engagements
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Experience leading teams, coaching staff and managing competing priorities
