Job summary

HLB Mann Judd is seeking an Audit Senior to join our Sydney Barangaroo office within the Assurance Division. You will work with a diverse client base across industries, delivering high‑quality external audits from planning through to completion.

You should have 3+ years’ audit experience, be CA or CPA qualified (or working towards), and enjoy collaborative, professional environments with strong technical knowledge.

The opportunity

We're looking for an Audit Senior to join our Assurance Division at our Sydney Barangaroo office. With over 80people in Audit & Assurance, HLB offers genuine career progression, exposure to diverse work, and the opportunity to make a real impact.

With continued growth and an expanding range of assurance services. You'll work with a diverse client portfolio across a range of industries, including climate‑related financial disclosures and emerging areas.

As an Audit Senior, you will:

• Work collaboratively with teams to deliver assurance engagements across a diverse client base
• Support the delivery of high‑quality financial audit engagements from planning through to completion
• Research and apply accounting and assurance standards to address technical matters
• Manage allocated engagement tasks and respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner
• Gain exposure to a range of assurance engagements, including climate‑related financial disclosures and emerging areas
• Mentor, supervise and effectively delegate work to junior team members

About you

You're someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, professional environment and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes. You'll bring:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in audit/assurance environment
• Recent experience in external audit and ability to manage multiple engagements
• Good working knowledge of financial reporting and auditing standards.
• CA or CPA qualified (or working towards)
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
• The ability to manage priorities and work effectively as part of a team
