Job summary

HLB Mann Judd is seeking a Financial Reporting & Advisory Manager in Sydney to drive technical accounting and financial reporting across a diverse client base. You will lead engagements, manage client relationships and coach junior staff within a collaborative team.

The role is a 12-month parental leave contract with potential to become permanent. You’ll work with ASX-listed and private clients, employing innovative solutions and technology to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in accounting advisory, complex audit or related professional services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, AASB and reporting requirements.
• Experience with complex group structures, consolidations and treasury activities.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex client engagements.
• CA or CPA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex accounting advisory engagements from planning through delivery.
• Deliver technical accounting and financial reporting services across diverse clients.
• Develop practical solutions balancing reporting, compliance and commercial objectives.
• Prepare high-quality client reports, technical papers and presentations.
