Job summary

Keegan Adams Recruitment partners with an established boutique Private Wealth firm to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager into a newly created, commercially focused position. You will take ownership of the FP&A function and work closely with the COO, CEO and Board to drive strategic priorities.

The role covers budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and board reporting, with a focus on growth, investment, resourcing and operational change.

• Strong FP&A or commercial finance experience close to the business and influencing decisions.

Keegan Adams is partnering with an established and highly successful boutique Private Wealth firm to appoint a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager into a newly created, commercially focused position.

With a strong foundation already in place, the business is now focused on building the capability, structure and commercial discipline required to support its longer-term ambitions. This role will be central to that journey, working closely with the COO, CEO and broader executive team to provide the financial insight and analysis that will help shape strategic priorities and influence key business decisions.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of the FP&A function, operating well beyond traditional reporting. You will bring greater visibility to business performance, challenge thinking, identify opportunities and provide practical recommendations across growth, investment, resourcing and operational change. Reporting to the COO and with significant exposure to the CEO, Executive Team and Board, you will take the lead across:

• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, including revenue, cost, cash flow and profitability
• Developing financial models, dashboards and management reporting to provide greater visibility of business performance
• Providing commercial analysis and recommendations to support pricing, staffing, investment and strategic decisions
• Partnering with senior leaders across the business to improve margin, productivity and resource allocation
• Supporting organic growth and potential M&A activity, including modelling, due diligence, integration planning and performance tracking
• Preparing executive and Board reporting, translating financial data into clear insights, risks and recommended actions
• Reviewing and improving finance processes, reporting disciplines, controls and governance
• Coordinating outsourced accounting and finance providers while retaining ownership of commercial finance capability internally
• Driving improvements across finance systems, data integrity and reporting processes

You will also initially lead one direct report while coordinating a broader network of external finance providers.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced FP&A or Commercial Finance professional who enjoys being close to the business and using financial information to influence decisions. You will ideally bring:

• Strong FP&A, commercial finance or management reporting experience within wealth management, financial services, professional services or a comparable environment
• Demonstrated experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and executive-level analysis
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations
• Confidence partnering with executives and senior stakeholders
• The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiences
• Experience improving finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks
• A relevant finance, accounting, commerce, economics or business qualification
• CA / CPA qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential
