Job summary

Westpac Group in Parramatta, NSW, seeks a Team Manager for Financial Crime to lead a high‑performing team through significant AML/CTF changes. The role combines deep financial crime expertise with hands‑on leadership to drive delivery and compliance in a dynamic regulatory landscape.

You will coach a team, translate complex regulatory requirements into practical processes, and partner with Change & Delivery, Policy and Project teams to ensure successful implementation of change.

Qualifications

• Strong Financial Crime knowledge with regulatory change experience.
• Experience in Enhanced Due Diligence and customer screening processes.
• Proven people leadership and coaching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team with regular one-on-ones and feedback.
• Maintain oversight of performance, controls and reporting.
• Translate regulatory changes into actionable operational impacts for the team.
• Guide the team through ongoing regulatory, process and technology change.
• Partner with Change & Delivery, Policy and Project teams to implement change.
