Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Senior Manager AML Reforms to lead complex AML/CTF and sanctions change initiatives across Financial Crime Operations. You will provide leadership, oversight and strategic direction to ensure an effective and adaptable control environment.

You will partner with senior stakeholders across the Group to uplift capabilities and embed sustainable change programs that strengthen regulatory compliance and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading AML/CTF, Sanctions or Financial Crime Operations functions within a complex financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead AML/CTF and Sanctions reform initiatives driving improvements across Financial Crime Operations.
• Provide oversight of suspect activity to identify emerging financial crime trends and risk.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence outcomes and drive strategic change.
• Operationalise Group policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage financial crime risks, controls, testing and remediation activities.
• Provide insightful reporting to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Lead change management and ensure stakeholder engagement and capability uplift.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
