A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a talented Financial Controller to join the business and lead the financial control function. Reporting to the CFO and managing a team of 5, you will be a key component of the leadership team and have a broad variety of responsibilities including:

• Take ownership of the monthly financial reporting
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements including consolidations
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review
• Lead and manage the annual and half year audit
• Prepare technical accounting position papers, particularly around revenue recognition
• Oversee internal controls and documented procedures
• Ad hoc projects and process improvements

To be considered for this broad and varied role, you will be CA qualified, have strong technical skills (particularly around revenue recognition) and have a minimum of 10+ years experience (open on industry). A Big 4 background originally would be highly desirable. You will also have well developed leadership skills, be an excellent communicator and enjoy improving processes.
