Job summary

Reo Group in Sydney is seeking an ambitious Financial Analyst to broaden exposure within a global ANZ subsidiary. In a newly created role, you will drive sales, gross margin and profitability analysis and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified, with ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, D365 or Navision), advanced Excel and Power BI skills. Hybrid work 3 days per week, with a pathway to a Senior FP&A position.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified; non-qualified candidates will be considered.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• ERP experience SAP, Oracle, D365 or Navision; advanced MS Excel skills and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, gross margin and profitability analysis and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Deliver management reports, dashboards, KPIs, OPEX analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives, investments, product portfolios and contracts.
• Partner with the Finance Director to support annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Identify business risks and opportunities and act as a Business Partner to operational teams.

Role Overview

The role offers candidates an opportunity to work with a progressive finance team and could be seen as a development path to a Senior FP&A role in the future.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, gross margin and profitability analysis, providing actionable insights and partnering with senior stakeholders
• Deliver management reports, dashboards, KPIs, OPEX analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives, investments, product portfolios, pricing, procurement, vendors and contract negotiations.
• Partner with the Finance Director to support the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts
• Identify business risks and improvement opportunities and act as a Business Partner to operational teams.
