Qualifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre FP&A Analyst to join a well-established organisation in Perth. This role will provide broad exposure across financial modelling, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded finance professional who enjoys working with complex data, building robust financial models and translating financial insights into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

The Role

Working closely with finance leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, you will:

• Build and maintain financial, economic and commercial models to support scenario planning and strategic decision-making
• Provide modelling and analysis for investments, pricing, contractual arrangements and capital expenditure
• Prepare monthly performance reporting, variance analysis, executive dashboards and management reporting
• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-term financial plans
• Maintain and enhance forecasting models to reflect changing business drivers
• Prepare budget, forecast and financial analysis papers for senior leadership
• Develop reports, dashboards and presentations for financial and non-financial stakeholders
• Translate complex financial information into practical, decision-ready insights
• Support the development of management reporting frameworks and KPIs
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline FP&A and reporting processes
• Utilise BI and analytics tools to improve reporting efficiency and insight
• Partner with finance, business and technology stakeholders to support broader business improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• CA/CPA membership or be working towards qualification
• 2–4 years' experience in FP&A, financial analysis or a commercial finance environment
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling experience
• Exposure to investment analysis and commercial decision support
• Strong financial and operational data analysis capability
• Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Experience with BI and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau
• Experience working with a large ERP system
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to translate complex financial analysis into meaningful commercial insights
• A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in analytics and automation
