Job summary

WorkPac Group in Brisbane is seeking a Finance Systems and Reporting Accountant to own our finance platforms and monthly reporting. This role supports month-end, variance analysis and builds insightful reports to drive sharper business decisions.

It is a full-time, Monday to Friday position based at our Fortitude Valley office. You will ensure accurate transaction processing, maintain system access and upgrades, and contribute to budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning.

Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, business or a related field.
• CPA/CA qualified, or working towards it.
• Experience with large accounting software packages and strong Excel skills.
• SQL skills to extract and report on data.
• Experience with TechnologyOne, Basware, XL One or ERP administration (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Supporting month-end, including management accounts and variance analysis.
• Building reports and pulling data to give the business clear insights.
• Keeping finance systems running smoothly, from user access to upgrades.

Where finance meets systems. This is a role for someone who loves the numbers but gets just as much satisfaction from making the systems behind them work better. You'll be the go-to person for our finance platforms and reporting, helping the business make sharper decisions every month. No labour hire background needed, just your finance know-how and a curious mind. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role based at our Fortitude Valley office.

What does a day as a Finance Systems and Reporting Accountant look like?

Your day may include:

• Supporting month-end, including management accounts and variance analysis.


• Helping with Building reports and pulling data to give the business clear insights.


• Helping to Keep our finance systems running smoothly, from user access to upgrades.


• Making sure transactions are processed accurately.


• Helping shape budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning.

What will you need?

• A degree in accounting, business or a related field.
