Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Finance Systems and Reporting Accountant to join our Fortitude Valley office. You’ll own the finance platforms, support month-end, manage reporting, and help sharpen business decisions with accurate data and robust systems.

You’ll work on budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning, ensuring transactions are processed accurately. A CPA/CA path or experience with key ERP tools will be valued in this full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• A degree in accounting, business or a related field.
• CPA/CA qualified or working towards it.
• Experience with large accounting software packages and strong Excel skills.
• SQL skills to extract and report on data.
• Experience with TechnologyOne, Basware, XL One or ERP administration.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including management accounts and variance analysis.
• Build reports and pull data to provide clear business insights.
• Maintain finance systems, including user access and upgrades.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning.

Where finance meets systems. This is a role for someone who loves the numbers but gets just as much satisfaction from making the systems behind them work better. You'll be the go-to person for our finance platforms and reporting, helping the business make sharper decisions every month. No labour hire background needed, just your finance know-how and a curious mind. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role based at our Fortitude Valley office.

What does a day as a Finance Systems and Reporting Accountant look like?

Your day may include:

• Supporting month-end, including management accounts and variance analysis.
• Helping with Building reports and pulling data to give the business clear insights.
• Helping to Keep our finance systems running smoothly, from user access to upgrades.
• Making sure transactions are processed accurately.
• Helping shape budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning.

What will you need?

• A degree in accounting, business or a related field.
• CPA/CA qualified, or working towards it.
• Experience with large accounting software packages and strong Excel skills.
• SQL skills to extract and report on data.
• Experience with TechnologyOne, Basware, XL One or ERP administration (highly regarded).
