Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Finance Systems and Reporting Accountant to join our Fortitude Valley team in Brisbane. You will manage month-end processes, build insightful reports, and keep our finance platforms running smoothly.

A strong foundation in accounting, CPA/CA progress, and SQL-enabled reporting is essential. You’ll collaborate across finance to shape budgets, forecasts and cash flow planning while ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in accounting, business or related field.
• CPA/CA qualification or in progress is preferred.
• Experience with large accounting software packages and strong Excel skills.
• SQL skills to extract and report data.
• Experience with TechnologyOne, Basware, XL One or ERP administration is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including management accounts and variance analysis.
• Build reports and pull data to provide clear business insights.
• Maintain finance systems, including user access and upgrades.
• Ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
