Job summary

Goulburn Valley Health is seeking a highly motivated Finance Officer on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 12 months, based at Graham Street, Victoria. You will provide administrative and financial support across several Finance functions and work with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.

• Adhere to GV Health's Standard Work Practices and meet reporting requirements and deadlines set by the Department of Health.

About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Officer to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 12 months.

The Finance Officer is a diverse and multi-skilled role that provides administrative and financial support across several Finance Department functions, including Payment Services, Revenue Services, Cashier Services, Medical Payments, and Residential Aged Care. Reporting to the Manager Financial Services, you will become part of a dynamic and collaborative team that plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's financial operations.

In this role, you will work closely with patients, customers, suppliers, GV Health managers, and Finance Department colleagues to ensure financial processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes. You will contribute to achieving the department's objectives by adhering to GV Health's Standard Work Practices and meeting the reporting requirements and deadlines set by the Department of Health.
