Job summary

Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Payroll Services team. You will process pay runs, generate reports, manage leave entitlements, and provide advice to Managers and Employees, using PayGlobal, Roster On/Allocate and SuccessFactors HRIS to support payroll processes.

• Ability to advise managers and employees on payroll matters.
• Proficient data entry with strong numeracy and attention to detail.

About the role:

We are seeking Payroll Officers to join our team in a full time permanent or temporary capacity. As a Payroll Officer, you will be reporting to, and will receive support from the Team Leader within the Payroll Services team. You will be joining a dynamic team, and will support the delivery of an effective and efficient payroll function to both GV Health and its outsourced payrolls.

As an experienced Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for activities related to the processing of pay runs, generation of reports, calculating and understanding leave entitlements, providing advice and support to Managers and Employees as well as processing new starters, variations and terminations. You will use electronic systems such as Payglobal, Roster On (Allocate)and Success Factors HRIS to support payroll processes.

We are looking for:

• Knowledge and use of HR/Payroll software packages (preferable in PayGlobal and Rostering programs)
• Possess a working knowledge of relevant awards, certified agreements, regulations and Acts
• Exceptional data entry and numeracy skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
