MPAU Finance in Melbourne is seeking a Finance Officer to join a growing automotive manufacturing business. You will work in a small finance team handling core accounting tasks and provide financial support across the function.

The role covers AP, AR, month-end activities, and general accounting duties, with a focus on accuracy, process improvement, and timely reporting. This position offers onsite work in the Northern suburbs with parking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant, Accounts Officer, or similar finance role.
• Experience within the automotive or manufacturing industry is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA qualified or actively working towards your CPA.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end processes.
• Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with Pronto.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsabilités

• Accounts receivable duties, including invoicing, cash allocation, credit notes, and collections.
• Maintaining customer and supplier master data.
• Corporate credit card administration and reconciliations.

• Supporting financial reporting and process improvement initiatives.
