Job summary

Visy Beverage Can in Queensland is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with site leadership, shaping financial and operational performance amid growth and investment.

You will lead monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting, analyse cost drivers across volume, pricing and inventory, and support investment decisions with robust commercial analysis. This role offers broad exposure across manufacturing, commercial and supply chain, with a strong growth pipeline.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with experience in management accounting.
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience with cost drivers.
• Commercially minded, able to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Experience supporting investment decisions and business cases.

The Opportunity

Join Visy Beverage Can during an exciting period of growth and significant investment. As we expand our manufacturing capability and invest in the future, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with site leadership and play an important role in shaping financial and operational performance.

As the Finance Manager – Beverage Can QLD, you’ll be much more than a month-end accountant. You’ll be a trusted finance partner to operations, providing insight, challenge and commercial support across plant performance, investment and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Financial Controller, based inter-state, the role offers broad exposure across manufacturing, commercial and supply chain in a business with a strong pipeline for future growth.

What you’ll bring

• CA/CPA qualified with experience in management accounting, commercial or operational finance.
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience, with a strong understanding of operational and cost drivers.
• Commercially minded, with the confidence to influence, challenge and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into actionable insights.
• Experience supporting investment decisions, business casescases, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong SAP or similar and Hyperion experience is advantageous.
