Job summary

AGL is seeking an experienced Finance Manager, Group Reporting and Advisory, to lead statutory reporting, consolidation, and governance of accounting policy. Based in Melbourne or Sydney, this 18-month, full-time role partners with stakeholders across the business and external auditors.

You will mentor the reporting team, stay abreast of accounting standards, and deliver board-level reports and timely statutory statements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced understanding of consolidation accounting and reporting standards.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and teams with strong governance.
• Experience with large ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• CA or CPA qualification and energy industry exposure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory financial reporting and consolidation for the group.
• Govern accounting policy and ensure compliance with standards and regulation.
• Partner with finance and business teams for accurate data and Q&A.
• Mentor the reporting team and drive professional development.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare board-level reports.
• Manage reporting-related projects to deliver on time and scope.
