Job summary

AGL is seeking a Finance Manager, Group Reporting and Advisory, to lead statutory financial reporting and consolidation. You will manage multiple stakeholders and mentor the reporting team while aligning with regulatory standards.

Based in Sydney or Melbourne, the role supports strategic financial governance, board reporting, and cross-functional partnerships within a dynamic energy company.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory reporting and group consolidation.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Leadership of the reporting team and mentoring.
• Exposure to the energy industry is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Statutory reporting: own group reporting and consolidation, ensure compliance with standards and regulators.
• Business partnering: collaborate with finance and non-finance teams for accurate data and insights.
• Leadership: guide the reporting team and evaluate performance to ensure quality outputs.
• Learning and development: contribute to finance team's growth and continuous learning.
• Stakeholder management: maintain relationships across levels and business lines.
• Auditors: coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
• Board level reporting: prepare board-level reports with key judgements.
• Project management: oversee reporting-related projects and deliver on time.
