The Townsville RSL is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department. This hands-on leadership role reports to the General Manager and oversees financial reporting, budgeting, BAS/GST, payroll, and compliance.

The ideal candidate is a qualified finance professional with 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver practical advice to management.

• Demonstrated experience in financial management and reporting.

Mansioni

• Prepare monthly financial reports for the Board.
• Process payroll and superannuation within deadlines.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets.
• Complete BAS and GST reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Monitor costs and provide financial insights to management.
• Track cash flow and prepare forecasts.
• Coordinate end-of-month stocktakes.
• Provide financial advice to General Manager and Board.
