Job summary

Noosa & District Landcare is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning, and to be the senior financial advisor to the General Manager and Management Committee.

You will manage cash flow, develop financial modelling and reporting, oversee audits and compliance, and drive improvements in financial systems, with part-time hours (4 days per week) in a community-focused environment on the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
• Advanced technical accounting skills and strong commercial acumen.
• Proven experience managing audits, tax planning and regulatory compliance.
• Strong financial systems skills, including Xero.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in the not-for-profit, environmental or horticulture sector will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to support organisational sustainability.
• Develop financial modelling, analysis and reporting for the General Manager and Management Committee.
• Manage external audits, tax planning and compliance obligations.
• Identify and manage financial risk.
• Be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, including day-to-day processing.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
