Job summary

CTE Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane seeks an experienced Finance Manager to provide strategic and operational financial leadership across the business. The role reports to the Operations Director and CEO, overseeing the full finance function including reporting, taxation, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting and payroll oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• CA or CPA qualified with current membership in good standing.
• Minimum 10 years' progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing external audit relationships and delivering clean audit outcomes.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability; Xero experience at administrator level.
• Clear and confident communication able to explain financial matters to non-finance stakeholders including the Board.
• Proven ability to build and develop a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior financial oversight and commercial advice to the CEO, Operations Director and Board.
• Lead the Finance and Administration team to deliver accurate financial reporting, payroll, AP/AR and GL functions.
• Manage annual operating and capital budgets, rolling 12-month cash flow forecasts, working capital and debt facilities.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, external audit, statutory financial statements and Board reporting.
• Pursue continuous improvement in finance systems, controls and divisional performance reporting.
• Support a high-performance finance culture.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and administration team.
• Oversee payroll processing including superannuation and compliance.
