Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Australia seeks a Finance Manager to support day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and drive month-end close processes in line with Group policies and Australian regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with the Financial Controller, GDC, Tax and Treasury, review GDC outputs, and support audits and compliance while leading a small finance team toward continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years in financial accounting/reporting or finance operations.
• Experience coordinating month-end close in medium/large org.
• Strong financial reporting and controls knowledge.
• Experience with statutory reporting, audits and compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in a multinational environment and with GDC/shared services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly close for Australian entities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management reports and supporting analysis.
• Review payroll journals and reconciliations; maintain GL integrity.
• Support statutory reporting, audits and group compliance activities.
• Collaborate with GDC and shared services to deliver timely, accurate outputs.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff and drive process improvements.
