Job summary

Eastern Guruma Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to provide strong financial leadership across corporate, project, service and JV activities. Reporting to the CFO, this role drives financial governance, accounting, treasury, taxation, audit coordination and system integrity.

You will lead the day-to-day Finance function, support a high-performing team and collaborate with CFO and operational leaders to ensure compliance and working-capital discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce required.
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification highly desirable.
• Senior financial accounting or finance management exp. in complex/project-based org.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, taxation and audit.
• Experience with financial close, treasury, working capital and compliance.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP controls, banking admin and Excel.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and report to CFO.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, journals and accruals.
• Ensure records comply with Australian standards and company requirements.
• Coordinate statutory financial statements preparation.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll interfaces, banking admin and credit control.
• Manage treasury, cash position and liquidity.
• Drive working-capital management across receivables/payables.
• Oversee GST, BAS, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax and superannuation.
