Anderson Frank has partnered with a B Corp-certified Australian manufacturer to recruit a Finance Manager specializing in NetSuite. The role oversees financial reporting, cost accounting, governance and compliance across ANZ with a hands-on leadership approach.

The successful candidate will drive process improvements in NetSuite, optimize financial processes, manage inventory valuation and variances, and lead a finance team in a hybrid Richmond head office setup in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing accounting experience including inventory and cost accounting.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience covering transactions and reporting.
• Strong month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Audits, taxation and statutory compliance experience.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, financial reporting, P&L, and balance sheet integrity.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variances.
• Oversee internal controls, governance, audit and compliance for ANZ.
• Optimise NetSuite processes for multi-subsidiary operations.
• Lead AR/AP and cash flow improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility.
• Drive finance process improvements and reporting efficiency.
• Coach and develop the finance team.

Finance Manager | Manufacturing & NetSuite

Location: Richmond, Melbourne | Hybrid – 3 Days in Office
Type: Full-Time Permanent

This is an opportunity with a B Corp-certified Australian manufacturing business with operations across Australia and New Zealand, to find an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing Finance team.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you'll take ownership of financial reporting, governance, compliance and manufacturing cost accounting across multiple entities, while driving process improvements within NetSuite.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own month-end close, financial reporting, P&L and balance sheet integrity
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation and production variances
• Oversee financial controls, governance, audit and statutory compliance across ANZ
• Optimise NetSuite financial processes, reporting and multi-subsidiary operations
• Lead AR/AP functions and improve working capital processes
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility and accuracy
• Drive finance process improvements, automation and reporting efficiency
• Coach and develop finance team members

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, financial control or operational finance
• Manufacturing accounting experience is essential, including inventory and cost accounting
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is essential, covering transactions, reporting and financial controls
• Strong month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting expertise
• Experience with audit, taxation and statutory compliance
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership and problem-solving skills
