Job summary

Frank Recruitment Group is seeking a Finance Manager for a Melbourne-based manufacturing business. The role is hybrid, located in Richmond with 3 days in the office, and involves owning financial reporting, governance and manufacturing cost accounting across multiple entities.

You will lead month-end close, cost accounting, and financial controls while driving NetSuite optimisations and process improvements. A strong leadership presence and CA/CPA credentials are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, financial control or operational finance.
• Manufacturing accounting experience including inventory and cost accounting.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience covering transactions, reporting and financial controls.
• Strong month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with audit, taxation and statutory compliance.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, financial reporting, P&L and balance sheet integrity.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation and production variances.
• Oversee financial controls, governance, audit and statutory compliance across ANZ.
• Optimize NetSuite financial processes, reporting and multi-subsidiary operations.
• Lead AR/AP functions and improve working capital processes.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility and accuracy.
• Drive finance process improvements, automation and reporting efficiency.
• Coach and develop finance team members.

Location: Richmond, Melbourne | Hybrid – 3 Days in Office
Type: Full-Time Permanent
This is an opportunity with a B Corp-certified Australian manufacturing business with operations across Australia and New Zealand, to find an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing Finance team.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you'll take ownership of financial reporting, governance, compliance and manufacturing cost accounting across multiple entities, while driving process improvements within NetSuite.

What You'll Be Doing:
