Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Demonstrated experience supporting projects, operations or maintenance-based businesses.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance analysis.
• Experience delivering insightful reporting and commercial recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of contract financial management, cost control, risk management and profitability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations and Contract Managers to support business performance and decision-making.
• Support business case development, tender submissions and commercial evaluations.
• Support contract profitability through cost control, pricing reviews, working capital management and margin improvement initiatives.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to enhance profitability.
• Manage end to end project financial reporting including forecasts, cash flow and margin analysis.
• Provide detailed financial analysis, commentary and performance insights to management.
• Lead month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Present monthly financial result dashboards to operational management and leadership teams.
• Manage balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, accruals and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and financial policies.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance and administration team members.
• Drive continuous improvements, reporting efficiencies and commercial outcomes.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Lead to partner with operational leaders and drive financial performance, reporting excellence and strategic decision-making across the business.

As a trusted Finance Business Partner, you will support business leaders in tactical and strategic decisions, providing insight into financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, risk management and commercial opportunities. You will also lead a team responsible for finance and administration activities while ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering
