Job summary

Destination NSW is seeking a Finance Coordinator to support day-to-day financial operations, focusing on accounts payable, purchase orders, and supplier records. Working with a small team, you will ensure timely, accurate processing compliant with NSW Government requirements.

You will contribute to financial record accuracy, assist with month-end activities and engage with stakeholders to deliver reliable financial services across the organisation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and purchase order processing within government or large organisations.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts and ensure milestones are delivered.
• Familiarity with invoicing, vendor records and payments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders, invoices and vendor records accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with NSW Government financial and procurement requirements.
• Provide practical advice to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Engage with shared service providers to resolve queries and improve processes.
• Support month-end and year-end activities and internal controls.
