Job summary

NSW Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport – Sydney NSW is seeking a Finance Coordinator to support accounts payable, purchase orders, vendor records and payments in line with NSW Government requirements.

You will work with a small team, assist with month-end activities, reconciliations and audits, and partner with shared services to deliver timely, accurate financial information and practical advice to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in accounts payable and purchase order processing.
• Understanding of contracts, PO management and financial milestones.
• Familiarity with media placement invoicing and billing systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce CRM or equivalent; strong Excel & Word skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities in a finance processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders, invoices and vendor records accurately and timely.
• Manage accounts payable workflows and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end financial activities and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with shared service providers to resolve queries and improve processes.
• Provide practical financial advice to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
