Job summary

Mirvac is seeking a Manager, Financial Control - Commercial & Mixed-Use Development to lead financial accounting across the portfolio. You will partner with your team and stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant financial outcomes and high-quality reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA, 5–7+ years of accounting experience in related environments, and strong technical accounting plus ERP/system proficiency. Flexible, hybrid work options and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required.
• 5–7+ years accounting experience in ASX-listed property, construction, infrastructure or engineering environments.
• Strong technical accounting capability and tax knowledge for practical business use.
• Experience with joint ventures or capital partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate General Ledgers across CMU Development and JV entities.
• Lead and execute month-end close with high-quality journals, reconciliations and eliminations.
• Manage JV reporting and revenue recognition journals; liaise with Group Tax for queries.
• Prepare half-year and full-year Group Reporting Packs for statutory accounts.
• Coordinate interim and year-end audits and oversee audit workpapers.
• Coach and develop the Financial Accountant; oversee offshore team.
• Drive system/process improvements within the CMU Financial Control function.
