Job summary

Mirvac, a leader in sustainable property and funds management, seeks a Manager, Taxation to oversee taxation for various funds and joint ventures from our Sydney HQ.

You will lead compliance, reporting and forecasting across tax matters, manage a small team, and drive strategic tax planning while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships within a dynamic, growth-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years taxation experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• CA/CPA or Master of Taxation qualification.
• Commerce/Accounting/Business degree required.
• Strong technical tax knowledge across trusts, GST, withholding tax and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end tax compliance processes and timely lodgement.
• Prepare and complete trust distributions and related tax statements.
• Prepare tax returns and schedules; liaise with stakeholders for review and sign-off.
• Oversee tax fixed asset registers and cost base tracking.
• Develop tax projections and scenarios to inform planning.
• Maintain up-to-date tax knowledge and provide guidance to the team.
