Job summary

Mirvac Group is seeking a Manager, Financial Control – Commercial & Mixed‑Use Development to lead the financial accounting deliverables across our Commercial & Mixed‑Use Development portfolio. This hands‑on leadership role partners with the team, stakeholders and Group functions to ensure accurate, compliant financial outcomes.

You will manage ledgers, month‑end close, JV reporting and audits while coaching the Financial Accountant and offshore staff to uplift capability and deliverables.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5–7+ years accounting experience in ASX-listed property or related fields.
• Strong technical accounting capability.
• Experience with large ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers across CMU Development and JV entities.
• Lead month-end close with journals, reconciliations and eliminations.
• Manage JV reporting and revenue recognition journals.
• Prepare group reporting packs for statutory accounts.
• Coordinate interim and year-end audits and support audits workpapers.
• Coach the Financial Accountant and oversee offshore team.
• Drive improvements in systems, processes and controls.
• Foster a collaborative, values-led team culture.
