Job summary

Mirvac is seeking a Manager, Financial Control - Commercial & Mixed‑Use Development to lead the financial accounting function across the portfolio. This hands‑on leadership role partners with a broad stakeholder group to ensure accurate, compliant financial outcomes.

You will oversee month‑end close, JV reporting, BAS reviews and audit coordination while developing the offshore team and driving process improvements. Hybrid working and career growth are supported.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification required.
• 5–7+ years accounting experience in ASX-listed property, construction, infrastructure or engineering environments.
• Strong technical accounting capability; apply standards and tax legislation practically.
• Experience with joint ventures or capital partners preferred but not essential.
• Experience with large ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident communication and leadership with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate General Ledgers across C&MU Development and JV entities.
• Lead month-end close with timely journals, reconciliations and eliminations.
• Manage JV reporting, revenue recognition journals and related processes.
• Review BAS calculations; liaise with Group Tax on queries.
• Prepare half-year and full-year Group Reporting Packs for statutory accounts.
• Coordinate interim and year-end audits and support audit workpapers.
• Coach Financial Accountant and oversee offshore team for delivery and capability uplift.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and controls.
