Job summary

Excolo Partners Pty in Sydney is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to take ownership of two core platforms: the finance and billing system and the document management platform. You’ll sit in IT and work closely with Finance, Knowledge and the wider business, becoming the go-to person for how these systems run and how they get better.

You’ll own admin, configuration, incidents, and staffing the backlog with user stories, specs and prioritised backlogs.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years supporting and owning enterprise business applications in a large professional services environment
• Hands on experience with finance, ERP or billing platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, TechnOne or similar)
• Document management experience (e.g. SharePoint, OpenText, M-Files, Objective or similar)
• A good understanding of how client, billing, revenue and document data connect, plus exposure to integrations between systems
• Working SQL, Power BI or SSRS, and strong Excel skills
• Comfortable writing user stories and specs, and explaining them to both tech teams and senior finance stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Owning the admin, configuration and day to day running of the finance/billing and document management platforms
• Handling escalations for incidents and service requests
• Turning business requirements into user stories, specs and a prioritised backlog
• Leading upgrades, enhancements and integrations, including UAT and release
• Keeping data clean, controls tight and audit trails in order
• Managing vendors and working with the reporting team so the numbers downstream can be trusted
