Job summary

Excolo. is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to take technical ownership of two core platforms: finance/billing and document management.

You’ll sit in IT and partner with Finance, Knowledge and the wider business, becoming the go-to expert on how these systems run, are configured and improved. Based in Sydney with hybrid work, you will own roadmaps, lead upgrades and integrations, ensure data integrity and audit trails, and translate business needs into user stories and backlogs that drive real

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years supporting and owning enterprise business applications in a large professional services environment.
• Hands-on experience with finance, ERP or billing platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, TechnOne).
• Document management experience (e.g. SharePoint, OpenText, M-Files, Objective).
• A good understanding of how client, billing, revenue and document data connect, plus exposure to integrations between systems.
• Working SQL, Power BI or SSRS, and strong Excel skills.
• Comfortable writing user stories and specs, and explaining them to both tech teams and senior finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Owning the admin, configuration and day to day running of the finance/billing and document management platforms
• Handling escalations for incidents and service requests
• Turning business requirements into user stories, specs and a prioritised backlog
• Leading upgrades, enhancements and integrations, including UAT and release
• Keeping data clean, controls tight and audit trails in order
• Managing vendors and working with the reporting team so the numbers downstream can be trusted

We\'re working with a high profile property and professional services firm. They\'re after a Senior Technical Analyst to take technical ownership of two core platforms: their finance and billing system, and their document management platform.

You\'ll sit within IT and work closely with Finance, Knowledge and the wider business. Day to day, you\'re the go-to person for how these systems run, how they\'re set up and how they get better.
