Job summary

Excolo. seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive the day-to-day operation of its practice management and document systems in Sydney. The role focuses on gathering requirements, prioritising a delivery backlog, and delivering upgrades and integrations from analysis through UAT and release.

You will be the primary liaison for system issues, identify process friction, and support data quality and reporting across platforms while coordinating with vendors on roadmap and changes.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar in a law firm or professional services.
• Hands-on experience with a legal practice management system such as Elite 3E or Aderant.
• Exposure to document management platforms such as iManage or NetDocuments.
• Understanding of matters, including billing and document processes.
• Comfortable with SQL and reporting tools such as Power BI or SSRS.
• Experience delivering system upgrades and enhancements, including requirements and UAT.
• Strong communicator across technical and business audiences.

A hands‑on role owning how those platforms run and evolve, working closely with the business to improve the way they support the firm day to day.
