Job summary

Alto Landscaping is seeking an organised Finance & Procurement Officer to support financial administration, reporting, job costing and purchasing for our growing Southern Highlands business.

The role is hands-on, 20 hours per week with potential to grow as the company expands. You will track costs by project, coordinate supplier purchases and ensure accurate recording of expenses, helping the owner make informed commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance administration and bookkeeping.
• Experience with cost tracking on projects and procurement.
• Ability to reconcile supplier invoices and track expenses.
• Comfortable working across multiple cost centres and projects.

Job description

Alto Landscaping is looking for an organised and commercially minded Finance & Procurement Officer to support the financial and purchasing functions of our growing business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance administration, reporting, job costing and procurement. A key part of the position will be helping understand the true financial performance of each project by tracking labour, materials, machinery and other costs against what was originally quoted. You will also take responsibility for coordinating purchasing across the business and ensuring staff purchases are correctly approved, recorded and allocated to the right project. The role will initially be approximately 20 hours per week, with genuine opportunity for the position to grow as Alto Landscaping continues to expand.

• Comfortable working independently
• Proactive and reliable
• Experience in construction, landscaping, trades, building or another project-based business would be highly regarded
• Experience with accounting software, spreadsheets and job-costing systems will also be valuable
