Job summary

People Culture & Compliance Partners – Condell Park NSW is seeking an experienced Landscape Estimator to lead estimating, tendering and contract administration for a growing landscape construction business. You will own the sales and estimating process from enquiry to handover, coordinating with suppliers, clients and the business owner.

You will review plans and specifications, prepare accurate quotations, manage tenders and pricing, and help identify new opportunities to drive revenue growth

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in landscape estimating or related roles.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience pricing commercial landscape projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Landscape Estimator to join an established landscape construction business based in Condell Park.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced landscaping professional who not only excels at estimating and tendering but also enjoys building strong client relationships and contributing to business growth. You will play a key role in managing enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, coordinating contracts, and helping convert opportunities into profitable projects.

About the role

You will take ownership of the sales and estimating process from initial enquiry through to contract execution and project handover. Working closely with the business owner, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates and quotations for residential and commercial landscape construction projects, reviewing plans and specifications, managing tender submissions, liaising with suppliers and clients, and coordinating contracts and project handovers. You will also develop systems and processes to improve sales tracking and conversion rates, and assist in identifying new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing detailed estimates and quotations for residential and commercial landscape construction projects
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and tender documentation
• Managing tender submissions and pricing activities
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, builders, and clients
• Following up quotations and managing the sales pipeline
• Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Coordinating contracts and project handovers
• Developing systems and processes to improve sales tracking, reporting, and conversion rates
• Assisting in identifying new business opportunities and market growth

About you

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in landscape estimating, project coordination, construction estimating, or a similar role
• Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and project delivery
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
• Experience pricing commercial landscape projects
• Experience preparing and managing tenders
• Knowledge of contracts and commercial administration
• Experience in implementation of CRM systems and sales tracking processes preferred
• Candidates who can bring existing industry relationships will be highly regarded (established network, contacts, client portfolio)
