Job summary

TJX Australia is seeking a Financial Analyst to develop, analyse, and report on Home Office budgets and forecasts. You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes with insights that inform decision making.

The role demands strong Excel skills, experience with financial reporting software, and clear communication. This is a 12‑month contract in Sydney with hybrid working and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and Forecasting: help to prepare and update Home Office Expense budgets and forecasts on a regular basis, incorporating market trends, historical data, and business insights.
• Reporting: generate and distribute accurate and timely Headcount, Travel, and Cost Centre reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Analysis: support with variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Collaboration: work closely with department VPs to gather relevant information and ensure comprehensive financial analysis.
• Continuous Improvement: identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and analysis activities.
