Job summary

CMC is seeking a Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team on a permanent, fixed-term basis for a Marlborough-based highway upgrade project just north of Rockhampton. The role offers long-term project stability and on-site work across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates hold an HR licence, EX RII up to 50t, a White Card, and proven Final Trim experience on roadworks to TMR standards, with Trimble GPS familiarity.

Qualifications

• HR licence, EX RII up to 50t, White Card are required.
• Final Trim experience on highway upgrades to TMR specs essential.
• Familiarity with Trimble GPS programs is desirable.
• Background in projects using TMR specs in Civil Construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Final Trim Excavator on highway upgrades.
• Work across multiple sites in the Marlborough/Rockhampton corridor.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and project specs.
• Collaborate with team to meet project milestones.

About the project

Located just north of Marlborough and around 100kms North of Rockhampton, the project consists of 4 Sites within a 23km section of highway.

The scope of works includes wide centre line treatments, intersection improvements and safety barriers. The work entailed formation widening and pavement works involving earthworks, drainage structures, geometry and safety improvements including roadside clearing and safety barrier installation.

We are seeking a Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team on a permanent, fixed term basis. This long-term project offers job stability along with the following perks:

About you

To join our team, you will ideally be located within a 4-hour drive of the Marlborough area, and have the following:

• HR licence | EX RII's (up to 50t)| White Card
• Confidence working with Trimble GPS programs
• Final Trim experience on highway upgrades/major roadworks to TMR specifications essential
• Have a background in projects that use TMR specifications in a Civil Construction environment
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Functional, including DAS.
