Job summary

Civil Mining & Construction Pty Ltd (CMC) is seeking a Final Trim Excavator operator for a permanent, long-term project north of Marlborough, near Rockhampton. The role offers a stable career path, competitive hourly rates with penalties, and meals and accommodation.

Ideal candidates are located within a 4-hour drive of Marlborough and hold an HR licence with RII Excavator certification, plus experience with Trimble GPS and TMR-driven roadworks. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Final Trim Excavator on highway upgrades/major roadworks.
• Work safely and in line with project specs and timelines.
• Contribute to project delivery across multiple sites within the area.
• Attend medical, drug and alcohol testing and fitness assessment as required.

About the project

Located just north of Marlborough and 100+ kilometres north of Rockhampton, the project consists of 4 Sites within a 23km section.

The scope of works includes wide centre line treatments, intersection improvements and safety barriers. The work entails formation widening and pavement works involving earthworks, drainage structures, geometry and safety improvements including roadside clearing and safety barrier installation.

About the role

We are seeking a Final Trim Excavator operator to join our team on a permanent, fixed term basis. This long-term project offers job stability along with the following perks:

About you

To join our team, you will ideally be located within a 4-hour drive of the Marlborough area, and have the following:

• HR licence
• RII Excavator certification
• Confidence working with Trimble GPS programs
• Final Trim experience on highway upgrades/major roadworks
• Have a background in projects that use TMR specifications
• Experience working in Civil Construction project environments
• Willing to attend and undergo a medical, drug and alcohol test and functional assessment
