Job summary

CMC is seeking Multi‑Skilled and Truck operators for a permanent, fixed-term role on a long-term project near Marlborough, Queensland. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with penalties, meals and accommodation, plus a 10/4 roster and travel hours reimbursement.

Ideal candidates reside within a 4-hour drive of Marlborough and hold an HR licence with RII Truck and/or Roller competency; other machinery skills are desirable and civil construction experience is preferred.

• RII Truck and/or Roller competency preferred.
• Experience in civil construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-skilled plant and truck equipment on site.
• Contribute to earthworks, pavement works and safety improvements.

About the project

Located just north of Marlborough and 100+ kilometres north of Rockhampton, the project consists of 4 Sites within a 23km section.

The scope of works includes wide centre line treatments, intersection improvements and safety barriers. The work entails formation widening and pavement works involving earthworks, drainage structures, geometry and safety improvements including roadside clearing and safety barrier installation.

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled and Truck operators to join our team on a permanent, fixed term basis. This long‑term project offers job stability along with the following perks:

About you

To join our team, you will ideally be located within a 4‑hour drive of the Marlborough area, and have the following:

• HR licence
• RII Truck and/or RII Roller competency
• Other machinery competencies desirable
• Experience working in Civil Construction project environments
• Previous road works experienceli
• Willing to attend and undergo a medical, drug and alcohol test and functional assessment
