Job summary

Clough, a leading Australian project delivery company, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant in Western Australia. We are seeking a Temporary Works Coordinator to support the site team, develop temporary works specifications, manage risk and safety, inspect and authorize temporary works and assess project scope.

This is a site-based role, FIFO from Perth (19 days on / 9 days off) or residential for those near Karratha.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
7+ years’ experience, ideally within the management of temporary works.
Understanding/knowledge of BS 5975, code of practice for temporary works procedures and ABCB Temporary Structures Standard.
Construction experience working within an EPC environment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to understand temporary works requirements.
Assess project work scopes and define/classify temporary works.
Develop temporary works engineering specifications.
Review risk-based work method statements and ensure adequate details in specifications.
Coordinate review of temporary works and falsework design and inspect implementation.
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety compliance and proper temporary works execution.
Maintain temporary work records and coordinate supply, erection, maintenance and dismantling of works.
